Home for us for 10 days. An other absolutely beautiful spot to enjoy! Ian had the A-Catamaran North American Championships at the Boating Club near by and they got some sailing done after pretty dodgy Mid West weather. They had 4 days of racing planned and only got out on 2 of those days cause of thunderstorms or too much wind or too little wind…. yes it’s a fickle sport!!! Ian got to geek out with his A-Cat peeps and even with little sailing they all had great time.

Well we enjoyed the huge State Park with Rhona and Kaya, fully. Kaya loved to swim in the lake and Rhona had plenty of sports chasing squirrels !!! We did multiple trail runs with Rhona and did not get lost too many times! So much fun!!!

We took a day trip to St. Louis with the Kids. They deserved to have a pee under the Gateway Arch. There was tons more history to be learned that I thought.. absolutely must to go and see the museum at the Gateway Arch National Park.

PS Louis and Clark started their adventure to find the waterway to the Pacific from here!!!

Next week we are heading to Ohio and New York State for 3 different State Parks! Summer is just getting started! Love it!
