Acadia National Park, Maine
Jen hiking with Rhona in Schoodic Acadia National Park
From Orr’s Is vacation land we drove few hours north to Acadia National park with Jen. Camped out in Acadia Seashores RV park, and parked on a spot right next to the beach with long shore line to run the pups. (I do have to admit that I booked this place in February ;) it is very popular destination, but over here it does not mean that it’s expensive). Weekends are busy. So beautiful and calm area.
Dinner time
Camp spot in Sullivan that is located between the Acadia National Park areas. The pups got huge back yard that drops off to the beach. Could not be more perfect!
Explored and hiked with Jen and the kids multiple days in both Acadia National Park areas. The bigger area is on Mount Desert Island together with Bar Harbor town and the other area is on Schoodic Peninsula east of the Mount Desert Island, the borders of the National Park are pretty burly and pretty much only way to figure out if you are in or out of the park is your map and lack of houses. Main thing to do on both parks is hiking and the best part is that you CAN take dogs with you.
… the pictures do not give justices to all this beautiful nature. Plenty places for the pups to swim in and again only National Park that allows dogs on the trails. Big Bonus!!!
