Boothbay is about an hour south from Camden on “a finger” that Boothbay town is situated Southend of it. Town itself is very “typical” Maine village with tons of shops/restaurants and one of the best Pet stores ever!!!

Best Maine Mussels ever….

I chose the camping spot close by the town as Ian left to drive across the States to LA with the truck + boat to race A-Cat Nationals in Long Beach and I stayed with the dogs in Maine.

The area around us had amazing hiking trails all over and we rode our bikes all around the islands as well of course !!! Just the best outdoor living one can hope.

The weather has been very warm and full of sunshine .. so the dogs have been swimming a ton to make up for lack of running in the heat!
