Park City, Utah to Lake Cascade, Idaho

Great trail run with Rhona close to Park City, just stunning views even during “the mud season”!

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid with the little better looking set here

… Butch Cassidy was born 200 miles south of Salt Lake City. His home is a museum in Circleville on Rd 89

We managed to catch few days in Park City visiting Mark and Paula, thank you so much for having us and showing us the sights and great time.

Onwards towards Twin Falls where we had a night in KOA campground, just to break down the drive to Cascade, ID

Crossing Snake River at Twin Falls

We took the Hwy 84 west and followed the Snake River flowing north. Absolutely amazing sights specially after Twin Falls. This country is amazing!

Shoshone Falls close to Twin Falls town, very much a worth of stopping by if you are heading past on Hwy84

Do check the history of the Bonneville Flood. Erin Rosen would be super proud of me getting into US geological history!! he he

Payette River.. 60 miles of nonstop rapids.. amazing drive. North from Boise on Rd 55

Beautiful drive to Cascade

Lake Cascade, Ridgeview Campground. Totally 100% luck to find this place.

A week ago we started to think where shall we spend 5 days between Boise and Hells Canyon (on border of Oregon and Idaho). Was looking for a lake so maybe Ian can splash his boat and found this place! It is good that we are here in April as this place will be buzzing when the holidays start and no way to get a spot for camping as the whole Boise is heading up here! We are 4500ft up so the campground only opened a week ago cause of snow.

The kids are LOVING this place

“Dog beach”right under our camp site!

Life is good… we love Idaho!!!

One day of quiet rain, just following the nature around us in silence!

The hills got more snow during yesterdays little rain.

We had 4 amazing days at Lake Cascade, the boat ramp opened up for the season during our stay and it definitely brought in boaters with their fishing gear. Summer ramping up fast with Boise coming up to spend summer here!
